GIT - Managing source code

GIT is the versioning software started by Linus Thorvalds to support the Linux kernel development. It is a distributed versioning system, that is great if your code is scattered over multiple environments and you do not always have access to a network (like working in a train, car, forest, prison … you get my point!). This will not be a git course, there are plenty on the internet. This is just the pointer: do this, forget about the rest!
